The gel doesn't leave that sticky film a lot of sanitisers do, and it dries down in seconds. Having the big 500ml pump bottle by the kitchen sink means I'm actually using it instead of hunting for a tiny bottle.
I keep this on my kitchen counter and use it constantly when cooking with raw chicken, and it dries fast without leaving that sticky film some gels have.
