Ahhh, pizza… we’ll be forever grateful to the Italians for inventing this deliciously cheesy treat! The secret to a great pizza is quality ingredients and the right kit, and thanks to Eddinstons’ 15-inch Ceramic Pizza and Baking Stone, you can transform your humble oven into a pizza oven and enjoy an authentic taste of Italy whenever you fancy. Cooking perfect-for-sharing pizzas in mere minutes, it’s just the thing for pizza parties.

Versatile

Not just for pizza, you can use your pizza stone for baking rustic breads, scones, biscuits, cookies and pastries… There’ll be no risk of a soggy-based tart, and things cook faster than on a standard baking tray, because the radiant heat of the stone cooks from underneath from the moment an item is placed upon it.

How to use

Place the stone directly onto a shelf in the middle of a cold oven and heat to 230°C. Once the oven reaches temperature your Pizza Stone is ready for action, and able to cook pizza after pizza at speed. The most efficient way to cook your pizzas is to assemble them first and use a pizza peel in true pizzeria fashion to place it onto the hot stone. Taking just minutes to cook, use the paddle-shaped peel to lift the pizza off the stone and get ready to tuck in.

If you’re going to take the hot stone platter out of the oven to serve what you’ve cooked please ensure that the metal rack is positioned on heat-resistant mats before you place the stone onto it. The metal rack is only suitable for use as a trivet.

Crisp results

The ceramic pizza stone absorbs moisture as your pizza cooks, provides even heat distribution and a fast cooking time, resulting in a beautifully light, crisp-crusted pizza.

Oven safe up to 250 °C.

Please note: the pizza stone must be cool before you wash it and should be washed with hot water only. Do not use soap or detergent and do not submerge or soak the stone.

Aurora E. ★★★★★

The crust came out with that beautiful charred crispiness underneath that you just can't get from a metal tray, and the wooden serving rack makes it look great straight at the table. I've used it three weekends in a row now and the 38cm size handles our family pizzas without any spillover.

Michael ★★★★★

The stone holds heat so well that my crust finally gets that blistered, charred bottom I've been chasing, and the wooden serving rack makes it easy to slide the pizza straight onto the table without burning myself. Cleanup is just a quick wipe once it cools, which beats my old steel pan by a mile.

Sofia ★★★★★

My first homemade pizza came off this stone with a perfectly crisp, blistered crust that the sheet pan never gave me, and the 38cm diameter fit my largest peel without a struggle. The wooden serving rack underneath makes it feel like a proper pizzeria setup, too.
