Baking these little cookies has become my favorite part of the holiday prep—the cutters are sturdy enough to press through thick dough without bending. The partridge detail holds up beautifully, and the pear's ridged texture really pops after a quick dusting of sugar.
Baked a test batch this weekend and the partridge shape came out crisp enough to see the wing feathers, which honestly surprised me for a cutter this size. The pear half is the one I keep reaching for though, the stem detail is just right.
The pear shape is spot-on and cuts through rolled dough cleanly without any ragged edges. I’ve already used them twice for early holiday baking, and the partridge detail stays crisp even after baking.
