The segments pressed into the dough cleanly, and the little legs stayed intact through baking—fondant stuck to it just as well for decorating. My kids got a kick out of the curly body shape turning into actual cookies.

The legs and body segments all came out distinct in the dough, so my kids could actually see it was a caterpillar before baking. It's also been great for pressing fondant toppers—the detail holds well without sticking.

The edges cut super clean through thick fondant, and the caterpillar's little segments held their shape perfectly when I baked a batch for my kid's bug-themed party. Even the roly-poly curve came out distinct, not squished.
