The silicone surface grips my salmon fillets nicely without any sliding around, and cleanup is just a quick rinse since nothing sticks. It fits snugly in the pot so there’s no wobble, and the oil definitely pools underneath rather than soaking into the food.
The silicone is firm enough to hold a whole chicken steady while still being easy to pop in the dishwasher. My pork roast came out with that crispy edge on the bottom instead of sitting in grease, which is exactly what I hoped for.
