I whisked a tiny bit of egg white for a cocktail and was shocked how fast it foamed up—the narrow shape reaches right into the bottom of a small bowl. They're sturdy stainless steel, so they've already survived a few vigorous vinaigrette shakes.
These little whisks get into the bottom of a pan better than any big one I've used, and they whip a single egg white up in no time. I've already used them for salad dressing and a quick pan sauce, and they've earned a permanent spot in my utensil drawer.
I was skeptical such a small tool could whip cream properly, but it fluffed a quarter cup in about two minutes flat. The two thin wires get into corners of saucepans that my big balloon whisk simply can't reach, and it's surprisingly sturdy for the price.
