Whether you’re creating a festive wreath atop your Christmas cake, or baking to congratulate someone in your life who’s a real winner (think exam results, driving test or a scrabble champion) this set of PME Wreath Icing Cutters will help you make a wreath of foliage that could pass as laurel in a flash.

Made to resemble three varieties of eucalyptus, each cutter makes a sprig of leaves that can be popped on a cake just as it is, or customised with modelling tools to look a bit more special with veining and rippled edges if you’ve got a little more time to spare.

BPA-free.

Cut out three wreaths for my sister’s Christmas cake last weekend, and the plunger mechanism caught every little leaf detail without any tearing. The size is perfect for a standard 8-inch cake, and they’ve cleaned up nicely in the dishwasher, too.

The three sizes give you so much flexibility—I used the smallest one for cupcakes and the largest for the main cake, and every wreath cut cleanly without any torn fondant. My Christmas cake looked properly festive for once.
