Founded by Annie Wild in Haworth, Yorkshire in 1899, Grandma Wild’s prides itself on using only the finest ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible, to make biscuits in a host of delicious traditional flavours that have won both Gold and Silver Great Taste Awards. A family business, currently in its fourth generation, they still bake to many of the same recipes created by their great-grandmother Annie Wild over 100 years ago.

Bought this as a little treat for my mum who spends every spare hour in the garden, and the shortbread disappeared within two days. The double chocolate chip ones are dangerously good with a cuppa, and the beehive design on the tin made it feel like a proper gift.

The tin itself is lovely enough that I'm keeping it for storing teabags once the biscuits are gone. The lemon ones disappeared first, and the shortbread has that proper buttery crumble. Only gripe is the double chocolate chip — a bit too sweet for me, but everyone else disagreed.
